A six-year survey of millions of stars in the Milky Way found that nearly every star has orbiting planets. This means:

100+ billion planets in the Milky Way galaxy.

The Milky Way is one of 170+ billion galaxies.

My math isn't that good, what's 100 billion x 170 billion?

More math - the odds that we are the only planet out of that sum with intelligent life?
